Seven hours in an outer space: the Russian astronauts have installed the new equipment at the ISS — RT in Russian


Astronauts Oleg Artemyev and Sergey Prokopyev who have arrived to the ISS in March of this year within the 56th expedition left in an outer space. They were faced by tasks — to start nanosatellites and to carry out installation of the scientific equipment on outer side of the space station. On these manipulations about seven hours were allotted. The IKARUS system which has been established during this operation will allow to keep track of state of environment on Earth. Process was commented by recognized specialists of space branch. RT conducted a live broadcast.
